1. Course Overview

Effective purchasing must meet requirements for quality, cost, timing, compliance, and supply continuity. Without sufficient processes and data, purchasing departments can fall into urgent handling, supplier dependence, or price optimization that increases total cost.

The course “Effective Purchasing Management” provides an overall view of the role of purchasing in the supply chain and guides the steps from need planning, budgeting, sourcing, and supplier evaluation to negotiation and contract management.

Through exercises and scenarios, participants build the ability to control orders, measure performance, manage risks, and improve purchasing activities in line with organizational objectives.
