1. Course Overview

Complex quality or operational problems often involve multiple departments and cannot be solved by a single action. Without a structured process, teams may stop at temporary measures or fail to verify the effectiveness of solutions.

The course “8D Problem-Solving Methodology” guides participants through the steps of forming a team, describing the problem, applying temporary containment, analyzing causes, selecting corrective actions, and standardizing prevention.

Through case studies and practical templates, participants develop teamwork, data use, and 8D reporting capability that can be followed through until the issue is closed.
